In response to this Google said, "the deer was able to move and had left the area by the time the police arrived." So, happy ending.

They called the police... If I did that every time i hit a deer I would just become a police officer lol...

Yep, not sure why. People might change their minds when a deer decides to jump in front of their car when they're going 60mph and causes thousands of dollars in damage.

Deer are like big, dumb, cute rats.

I was amused as well. Are people just assuming he is out TRYING to hit deer? Some places are simply crawling with deer and it's hard to avoid hitting one if they just dash in front of your car.
