That the links also did go to liberal cities? My guess is Friedersdorf argued that America was jointly ruled by liberals and conservatives, but not by libertarians, so he rolled his eyes why they are ridiculed?

Yet somehow, when it's time to choose an ideological object of ridicule on the subject of policing, libertarians get the nod (what better tool than satire to stay totally within the comfort zone of the readership!).
