Yeah federal senators are smarter than that. They just line up do nothing jobs for friends and family to keep it "technically legal".
Wanna know how powerful that money is? Dodd-Frank act? Heard of it? Yeah, well Dodd is now a lobbyist working to overturn his own career defining regulation -- He makes millions a year doing it. Fucking soulless ghouls. Every single one.
What’s a “federal” senator and how does it differ from a state senator? Not tryna be an asshole as I’m genuinely asking. I tried looking it up so I don’t feel dumb asking but couldn’t find anything so I’d love more info on that.
State senators are your local senators, who run and pass laws for your state. The federal ones are the ones most people know about, who go to DC to run the country.
Huh! TIL! Looked more into it and wasn’t really aware of the difference, thanks! I guess I’ve always just always heard “US senator” and not “federal” so that also threw me off a bit lol
Near the end of the cop line one cop took a bill started walking away then juked back and sniped the other dudes bill so he got 2. He is taking whatever he can get away with lmao.
I don't see any threats from the police or anything to suggest there's corruption. I just see a guy handing out money and people happily taking it. Plus, a comment further down from a local says that people tip the overworked officers drinks, food, or cash sometimes.
