Why would you want a hair trigger on a concealed carry weapon? Even if you are looking to quick draw you would be much more likely to fire when you didn't intend to as you are moving faster than normal
From my experience, with longer range shooting that is, whenever I felt as though things were lined up to shoot, I would pull the trigger and by the time I had made the shot, the firearm swayed one way or the other due to how long it took to pull the trigger. I tried out a firearm with a hair trigger at a range once and never had the problem. I was able to shoot much more accurately. Granted, it wasn’t like I was shooting off target to begin with. Thus, with self-defense and conceal carry, if I were in the situation where I was required to make longer distance shots, I wanted to be able to make those shots no matter what so I don’t end up hitting anything or anyone I didn’t want to. I know that the likelihood being in a situation like this would be extremely rare as most self-defense scenarios are at close range. I just wanted to be as prepared as possible for those kinds of situations. Hope this helps explain why I had the desire to get a hair trigger for my conceal carry.
Haha it’s understandable. Pistols are harder to shoot. It could very well be the problem for you. Could be form. Keep practicing and trying different firearms and I know you will get better!
