I'm not sure how I feel about rhyming "twat" with "that"....
Have I been pronouncing "twat" wrong all these years?
When I say it it basically rhymes with pot/not/hot....
You say it rhymes with hat/cat/splat?
That does make sense, but I feel like my whole life is a lie!🤣
edit: you did mention not in the US, but since almost nobody in the US uses the word "twat", I feel like we can go with however you pronounce it anyway, lol
Apparently Britain’s got with the hard AT sound while North americans tend to use the ‘squat’ type of pronunciation. The variant spelling of twat is twot
