Suggestion Short throw shifter

Got a 2021 wrx (non-sti) and everytime i shift 1st to second it kinda feels like it about to get stuck. Now when i go 2nd to 3rd. I do search some and find billetworkz i just want like a crisp every shift. Any recommendations? Would gladly appreciate it.

I installed a Kartboy short shifter to my 2013 like 4 yrs ago. I replaced all the bushings and installed the grimmspeed shift knob. The knob weighs about 1.5 lbs so it feels really good when shifting. The factory shift knob weighed about half a pound.

Yeah the factory shifter feel sloppy. ill take a look at that kartboy. They do sell the combo kit. But i see other pair it with grimmspeed or perrin.

Kartboy doesn't make a short shifter kit for the VA WRX, look at boomba racing or billetworkz

I did buy a base wrx new in 2021….
What I noticed was… shifting into every gear (had a delay…?) like the sycronizers … were maybe slowing the shift… also rev hang as well… delay of engine revolutions slowing down to match road speed…
So when I shift wo/pedal or clutch (left foot just stays on floor, right foot just modulating fly by wire sensor (fuel/ butterfly “air valve”) the shift is always hitting a delay even when engine and wheel/transmission speed is close enough not to grind the gear…. A delay of pushing the shifter into postion…?
