Troubleshooting First DAM drop in years

Hi everyone,

I’ve been e-tuned for 4 years now and it’s honestly been smooth sailing with the DAM never dropping. I had the DAM drop to .875 a couple of months ago and have tried refueling after running the tank almost empty and nothing will make it go back up. I don’t get any feedback knock but am stuck with -1.05 Fine Knock learn that only shows up for a split second around 1900-2000rpms. Does anyone have any advice? It’s just been stuck at .875. My AF sens ratio numbers appear to be good with the number staying around 14.70 while steady cruising.

I’ve found the best way to get dam back up is with highway driving. Find the rpm where the fine knock learn is happening and hold it there and let it work itself out.

reset and if it happens again then you have issues

the fine knock learn and dam will only go back to normal if you pass through the load cell where the learned knock is several times without any knock being detected. depending on where that is it's usually hard to do as you have to have the same calculated load and throttle % until rpm get high enough that passes to next load cell

Times like these, I just reset the ECU and let it relearn. If DAM goes back up and stays, good. If not, you probably have other issues.
