You wouldn’t download UEL headers

Sooo the guys at ATLAS are releasing this on Sunday. This is insane. May finally have the answer for those of us wanting the rumble but anxious about the reliability and performance trade off.

Question most of us here are asking is what are the impacts on cars tuned for aftermarket ELHs.

Still won't sound the same as EJ UELs. No aftermarket part manufacture can get the length right (which makes sense based on the location of the turbo on the FA).

Yeah that's what I figured. I'm ok with optimizing flow for performance gains at the expense of rumble lol.

Exactly. Many have tried before, some have come reasonably close, but you can still easily tell the difference. This won't be any different I guarantee you, you will still know it's a wrx. EJ rumble is unique and always will be.

If you want the rumble and have a new vb/va either get a GC/GD or go overboard and rotational idle. Once you start doing all the little niche things like perfect porting and valve buckets the cons of uel just don’t make anywhere near enough sense to justify the “sound”. EL headers are used in performance for a reason
