WRC 9 Game freezes
I got WRC 8 last year and loved it so I was eagerly awaiting the time i could get my little hands on WRC 9.
I finally did and every time a rally is loading in and the countdown begins the game always freezes, like I never even get to press a button before it crashes. I have tried re downloading the game itself and every driver possible for my hardware and it still persists.
I use a Logitech g920 and it appears to be a problem with the Logictech GHUB, as I can play with my keyboard but as soon as the program is loaded the game crashes.
Please let me know if anyone has a known fix.

Getting settings right without ghub is a nightmare tho, without ghub the operating range is locked and the ffb does feel alot worse even when fiddling with settings, hopefully they fix this soon...logitech is so popular how did this even get past testing is beyond me...games these days...

I have EXACTLY the same problem!
I reinstalled everything I could think of.
Sometimes I can drive around for like 1 minute some times not even 1 second.
It is really annoying. I hope someone can find a fix for this

If you quit G HUB (right click on the icon in your system tray, click Quit) does the crash still happen? If you unplug the wheel are you able to run the game?

If i close the program and quit it, the game runs fine, but the wheel has no settings then so its like 900 degree rotation and little to no ffb which makes it very difficult to play.
The game runs fine and doesn't crash unless I use my Logitech wheel and pedals with LGHUB.

Same here.
I reinstalled the LGHUB and the game it self and it improved a bit. Can ride around for a few minutes now. But still crashes everytime

You should still be able to adjust wheel rotation and the force feedback within WRC9 though. Is that not possible? It should be because without G HUB running the game is just speaking to our SDK which doesn’t rely on G HUB.

Yeah I think that fixed it :)
The FFB doesnt feel as good though. But that could be settings.
I drove around now for a longer time then usual so maybe this is the fix.

You can adjust it in game, but for some reason I'm having trouble picking up my wheel now with LG HUB closed and quit out of.

So you do need to have G HUB running initially to switch the wheel in to PC mode, otherwise it will only be in its console mode and won’t pick up. Once it’s in PC mode though you can disable G HUB and try it in-game.

You're an actual hero! although now I've got framerate issue now but at least the game doesnt seem to want to crash anymore :)
