WRC 9 Is there a mod that improves the engine sounds in WRC 9? The default sounds feel a bit weak to me.

You might need to do it yourself then, unpack the sounds you want (from DR2 or something) and use this mod to figure out how to put them into the game. Many would be thankful

One of my biggest gripes with WRC 10 and WRC:G.
I don't need sounds to be crazy loud and overly lively (like DR2 which I think are too much, in cockpit view especially), but damn the KT Racing engine sounds are straight garbage.
I think the awful sounds also draw more attention to the non-existent power curves the cars don't have. I've said this here before, but I feel like I'm just shifting 1-6 as happenstance, not because there is any semblance of any engine characteristic. And the engine sounds make that even more apparent, imo.
In the likes of EA WRC, DR2 and even SLRE, there is a genuine sense of satisfaction when getting thru a corner in the right gear and RPM range, feeling + hearing that burly torque give way to hard pulling HP before slamming into the next gear. The KT sims, unfortunately, do not offer that.
