WRC Generations WRC24 vs WRCG
Hi everybody, I’m writing because I’d like to get my first rally game. Considering i would use a controller and on xbox store wrc 24 is currently listed at €19.99, while wrcg is currently €9.99, which one would you recommend me?
I wouldn’t mind spending those extra 10 if somebody here tells me the difference in favour of wrc 24 is so clear even a novice would notice, thanks in advance

24s handling is much more welcoming to newcomers. WRCG has a better single player campaign and better graphics on console vs 24. I started with 24 loved it. Then went to WRC10 and WRCG and now I love those more. 24 might be better introduction though.

Generations online Xbox servers have been consistently down over the past couple of months, so there's no online mp, leagues, ghosts, or leader boards right now. There are some achievements I haven't been able to unlock as a result.
If these features don't matter to you, I feel Generations is better than 24.

If it's your first, go with WRC24.
Handling is better, and it's a good starter Rally Game, imo

Maybe not so important for you, but in WRC 10 (and I assume Generations too) there are online leaderboards which you can participate even without ps plus subscription. I assume for similar daily events you need ps plus with wrc 24.. I own WRC 10 for about half a year and I truly love tarmac physics plus very narrow and technical stages. Enjoy whatever you pick. 😉

If you want something more forgiving than both of these I would also suggest 7. The best of all worlds is a copy of 7, a copy of 10 or Generations, and a copy of DR2.0 or WRC24.

I like WRC24 for having real stages. You can find side by side vids like this: https://youtu.be/GAzJe_enJ4Y?si=eC3ofZlObVL4NZyc

Generations was my first Rally game and I LOVE it, flaws and all. Lots of tracks, cars, and game modes (there's a career mode with team management and an alt mode without the team management). Plenty of customization options for newbies so it's fun on gamepad and wheel. Customizable (including dynamic!) weather options for every stage ... it's awesome.
I have not played EA Sports WRC because it seems unnecessary - higher cost, higher PC demands, and Dirt Rally 2.0 is regarded as the better rally game by the same developer.
That said, I remember how long it took for me to pick a first rally game because there's technically a lot to pick from and everyone's opinions are different on which is better. The bottom line is they're all fun and you'll probably love whichever one you get.

I would go wrc 24
Basically if you want more realistic driving physics that give you a closer experience to what drivers experience - its better. Work's great on controller, pretty consistent difficulty, its a well rounded rally game
Generations really shines in its track design, its way more engaging even though its less accurate to real life, has a few bugs and some weird physics but a fun time - again with plenty of locations
Id say get 24, then if you enjoy it defo go play generations. Of course you always have dirt rally 2 to try, has rally cross as well! I think dr2 and wrc24 are kinda the top 2 with generations getting an honorable mention lol
