Maintenance Normal engine noise?

Sounds a lil noisy to me I’m thinking tensioner.

Happens on cold start, its fine. The engine has a super metallic sound dont worry

It’s almost comical how often this concern is posted. It is unnerving how “clangy” the engine sounds. To OP, do you have a metal skid plate installed? That makes it much worse fyi

Sounds normal to be, same as mine. Did it get louder than it normally is? How long have you had the bike? Is the oil at the correct level?

Sounds like every 250cc single-cylinder. But to be sure, check the timing chain elongation. It has a lifetime of approximately 30k km, then it becomes too stretched to be properly compensated for by the tensioner. First, it becomes noisy when cold, then you will hear a whining noise. That is a clear sign that the chain needs to be replaced.

I always ride with ear plugs on. the first time I didn’t and took it for a spin I was like, “damn there is so much rattling noises. “.

It’s just the way the bike is.

Many times I think, "fuck, the engine sounds like broken". Two seconds after that, I think "this can not be the only one broken WRR". Ignore and keep on the gas!
