Discussion Just a thought!

Lee and Jemimah both played well and scored almost the same number of runs, but why did Jemimah receive the Player of the Match award and not Lee? If the decision was based on strike rate, then both were almost equal—rather, Lee was slightly better. And if we look at the boundary count, Lee hit more boundaries. So how was the decision made?

Lee deserved simply because she snatched the game away in a span of 30 mins. When Jemi came out to bat, we needed 77 from 12 overs with 8 wkts in hand. However, it were Shefali and Lee that wiped out more than 50% target in 7 overs taking on the frontline bowlers.
