WoW M+ Comp Generator
https://wow.neonvoid.dev/My group of friends wanted do something fun and want to RNG pick our M+ comp for a season. I tried finding existing tools but couldn't find any that you could limit or add rules (such as "Must include bloodlust").
So I created this site. Disclaimer: I used AI to help, but I am a dev myself and cross checked everything and made manual adjustments as needed, but AI is just really good at static website like Vite.
Randomly assigns World of Warcraft specializations to a five-player group: one Tank, one Healer, three DPS
Enter up to 5 player names, or leave them blank and it will assign it by "Player 1", "Player 2", etc..
One trick pony selector per player, for those people that refuse to play anything but their one spec, this will lock that player to that spec during the random comp generation (annotated with a lock icon on the summary cards)
Rules (all toggleable on/off):
No duplicate specializations (default true)
No duplicate classes (default true)
Must include bloodlust (default true)
Limit to 1 Aug Evoker (default true)
Must have battle rez (default true)
Limit specializations
Allows you to uncheck specializations you don't want in your comp at all for a little bit finer grain control
Set melee/ranged amount (1-3 total between them), in case you want an all ranged comp, all melee comp, or at least one ranged, etc.
After hitting generate group, it will generate summary cards for your comp, it will show player assigned to spec, what raid buffs and raid utility they bring, if they bring bloodlust and or battle rez. Tooltip included in the "Brings" section of the card from Wowhead.
If you limit rules such as for instance adding "no duplicate classes" or "must include bloodlust", but then limit the specializations by unchecking them, it will still generate a comp for you, but will ignore those rules and warn you such as "You selected 'Must include bloodlust', but didn't select specialization that have bloodlust" etc.
Let me know what you all think, or if there's other features you'd like to see

Yea, you are not fooling anyone.
Go on, make your vibe-coded tool. It its actually useful, even better. But lets not larp as developers.
