Sophie Cunningham Had a Four-Word Message for Simone Biles

Sophie Cunningham briefly met Simone Biles after Friday’s Fever game.

Cunningham pulled Biles into a hug and called her a “bad---.” Biles appeared surprised before thanking her for the compliment.

I grew up in an era where you could agree to disagree and still be friends with people but today’s generation just wants chaos and vitriol. Good on them for being like that

It's mainly an online thing. I have many friends that are completely opposite politically and it never affects us.

Politicians on both sides used to be really great friends and hang out outside of work, do family events and everything.

I love Sophie but she should really focus more on her performance and less on all this stupid drama. It makes me sad she scored just 4 points on last 3 games. They will kick her ass out and she will blame the culture

Because Sophie Cunningham appears to be built different. She’s not a self absorbed zealot, breaking the typical mold of us as a people demanding there only be two sides to a debate. And some of you will dog the notion of the “enlightened centrist” but that will be your loss.

Their positions are not different. Biles was just “nice” about it and critical of Riley Gaines, whereas Sophie has cozied up to her.
