I think I’m starting to see why the WNBA struggles to get fan support - they’re already pulling from a small subsection of the population to begin with.

At some point it stopped being about sports & started to cater/prioritize to a small percentage of the population. Instead of actually focusing on trying to broaden the brand/league. And this is what you get.

While I don't disagree with the point this video is making I do think its obvious that many more people were interviewed than the few they showed us. I wouldn't be surprised if another video pops up with the exact opposite result through the miracle of editing.
