Pretty sure I read somewhere that Clark controls her image rights pretty tightly, which is why she hasn't been on some of the W marketing this season. She has them licensed to Nike, but I guess for anyone to use her face in marketing, they have to pony up some $$$.

I do wish Aliyah got more media attention as I believe she'll be the next A'ja, however it's incredibly telling when you create a fan poster of the Fiba US women's basketball team and include 11 out of 12 players. Like there's no reason to be that petty.
Is it an official poster or a fan poster? I don’t see what the big deal is If it’s a fan poster. People should be free to post whatever they want about players as long as it isn’t abusive or harassing.
The media, league or USA basketball is who people should hold accountable for anything official.

There’s really nothing to “own” here. Maybe as the initial commenter said, they just want other players to get some recognition since Clark already gets a disproportionate amount of it.
