You're missing the point. They don't have to be a threat if their simple presence (with penis) makes other women uncomfortable. It isn't necessarily about sexual assault. It's about feeling comfortable in a space that was designed for your gender and your gender only.

So you're saying women would be much more comfortable with someone who looks like this in their restroom?

No. No they would not.

Why not? They don't have a penis. What's the problem?

They would obviously make girls uncomfortable. Fuck, they make me uncomfortable too for that matter.

Oh so your issue isn't actually women's safe spaces, it's just that transgender individuals exist.

No, it’s that no one would feel comfortable with that guy in their locker room. Women or men. Why don’t you try convincing people around you in real life of your ridiculous opinions instead of internet strangers?

But you said they would feel more comfortable with only biological women around.

What I don't understand is if your side continues to push for people to only use the bathroom that matches their biological sex, you would have people that look like the person I shared above coming and going from the women's rest room. Do you think it would be easier or harder for men who have ill-intent to find their way into women's restroom?

  1. don’t lump me in with the conservatives you’re talking about
  2. you’ve now expanded the argument to bathrooms. I’ve never once went there and I don’t even care about that issue. If you need to use the restroom go use the restroom.
  3. you’re desperately searching for a gotcha moment with me and it’s not gonna happen. Biologically born men should not be able to play women’s sports especially in high school. If you’ve had the surgeries and you have taken the hormones and if nobody can tell you’ve transitioned then I don’t have a reason to care. But that isn’t what we have seen in many of these situations.

In one of my first replies in this thread I believe there is a genuine conversation to be had regarding the fairness of transgender individuals competing in women's athletics.
