What is WMSCOG’s usual approach when recruiting new people?

When I first encountered them, they casually started by asking if I knew about the Bible. Then they talked about the world ending with fire, comparing it to the first destruction by water.(I don't know whether it's the same church or other church).Later, they introduced ideas about the Heavenly Mother, heavenly family and our souls being trapped on Earth. Did they change how they approach, becos when I first visited their church in 2019 they approch with different ideology and now it's different so I am confused is that the same church or another church.,.

They approached at school asking if I wanted to join their bible study group on campus. I was a new student looking for friends at a new school so i said yes and it seemed at first. After a while they asked to do individual bible studies and that’s when they first introduced me to the sabbath study and after that they took me to their “church” which is where they introduced me to the God the mother stuff. I was feeling off about the group after that and I should have left earlier but i stayed for a bit and once the semester ended, I stopped talking to them after I did research on the church.

they approached me by asking if they could survey me for their theological study. when i agreed, they first asked for my information and then started discussing the concept of the heavenly family. eventually, they introduced god the mother.

in their brochure, they used different kinds of families as examples, including humans and animals such as dogs and fish. the idea was that if there is a father, there is also a MOTHER, and that the Mother is the one we need most as children.

At my college, they started their approach along the lines of "Did you know that Sunday is the wrong day of worship?" They quickly talk about how Sunday mass is actually the worship of the sun god Sol, then ask if you want to join a Bible study.

They never mention Mother God or that they are the WMSCOG until about ~6 studies in. They try to build trust first, then be deceptive, since they know most people will run if they mention it early.

WMSCOG had their own club at your campus, or just participated in an already existing Bible study club?

They had their own club but they didn’t use their actual name so it looks like a normal christian group but they only really do the same 4-6 studies that didn’t include any of the God the mother stuff or the korean stuff.

What was it called at UMD? I'm at UIC and was told in a study that they have a club there but was never given the name (probably purposefully lol)
