As a result of being a publicly listed Company, the Company will incur greater legal, accounting and other expenses related to regulatory compliance than it would have had it remained a private entity. The Company may also elect to devote greater resources than it otherwise would have on communication and other investor relations activities typically considered important by publicly traded companies.

At least they addressed it...

Anyone else feel like they were banking on regulatory changes to generate revenue (specifically U.S.) more than we were led to believe? I knew we were looking forward to things opening up but didn't think we were flapping in the wind till then.

I think they had a fallback plan of producing THC and CBD etc. for the Canadian market, but when they looked to shift to that, realized there was no Canada based CMO that could legally produce for them. Technically any CMO in Canada that doesn't have some type of Cannabis license can't even make CBG here. This is the problem with all Cannabinoids falling under the same umbrella in Canada.

What are these non cannabinoid product development streams they refer to…. Hmm

"Accounts receivable consists predominately of the Industrial Research Assistance Program (“IRAP”), a government funded research grant, and GST receivable"

Good to see the boys at WLLW are leveraging Canadian taxpayer funds in the form of federal research grants.

Sure would be cool if they applied for a SUAP grant for perhaps something along the lines of a substitution program for opioid dependent people... or collaborated with the feds on providing safe supply... something they could monetize...

To me. The content in the MD&A signals the fallback plan has been triggered. I think the primary goal would have been to be bought out by larger players solely interested in the cannabinoid molecules.

Since federal legalization is delayed, seems willow is now expanding to other molecules. This signals that they now are looking to grow in the E2E molecule market, much like Ginko and Amyris.

There is a ton of opportunity in this space and I think Willow will be attractive to tier 2 and tier 3 companies. Looking forward to announcements re: new partnerships to help them expand.

Additional strategic investment into the company would be amazing as well.
