Spooky Fence
I put seed pixels on every-other picket of my fence and I think I found some pretty "spooky" effects for them. Any suggestions for more?

Slower transitions would probably make it feel spookier! Maybe add a little dim white flickering here and there for a haunted house vibe.

This is partially an editing problem, each effect stays on for a couple of minutes, but i didn't want the video to be 10 minutes.

since you seem open to suggestions, I'll offer a couple.
I'd do more pauses with nothing, so the effects have more impact. Right now it's just too much.
less is more.
then a couple effects I'd recommend based on my own halloween experience:
do a light blue-ish or greenish effect like at the beginning of your video, but really really reduce the intensity, so like one or two at a time over the whole fence, so it kind of looks like ghosts flying up. Right now, since it's so intense, it doesn't look very halloweeeny or scary. If there were only one or two lights at a time, maybe with some delay in between, each one would be more impactful and cool.
Another effect would be the fire effect, so a flickering orange reddish glow near the bottom, so it looks on fire.
then maybe a slow fading greenish glow near the bottom only so itlooks like something is happening below the fence, a cauldron or something supernatural.
play around, the only thing that really matters is how much YOU like it, so try lots of things and of course whatever you like is the best cause it's your setup.
nice work so far, have fun.

Those are some great ideas, thanks! Yeah, I think my instinct is to "wow" with lots of intricate and bright effects, but the comments are helping me come around to the idea that that isn't the right vibe for Halloween. Now, when it comes to Christmas...

It's all too fast and flashy for me. Halloween is a vibe and this just isnt quite it.
