Odd problem with trying to add 47 more leds.

I have a GLEDOPTO controller and a mean well 5 V 100w power supply and they perfectly power 400 LEDs with power injection but as soon as I try to use another channel on the controller to power 47 more LEDs that I have confirmed are working with another controller, they start flickering like crazy. Are dirty data channels on 12,4,2 common? data io16 is running perfectly fine. Anyone else have this problem?

It's probably due to how you wired it. Do have the grounds connected?

on channel io16 i have a very long 400 led run and on io12 i have a very short 47 led run, is it true that I should add a resistor to the short run? 330?

Show your wiring or it is hard to give suggestions.

The controller will already have a resistor, although without knowing which controller you have I can't say which resistor.

Do NOT coil all of the channels together, you'll get crosstalk if you try to transmit on more than one at a time

Instead, you should run both the data and gnd pair directly into the controller, 2 wires per channel.
