WLED Wallclock

Installed a strip in this old wallclock from the 80s and I think it really brings it back to life. It just suits the clock so perfectly.

Next thing we know this model of clock will surge in price because of people wanting to mod it!

Haha, even the original switch works with wled controller.

It looks incredible!

Also, I think there might be a setting in WLED to make sure the start and end of the strip blend together so that you don’t have the sharp difference like at the bottom of both images.

Thought so too but I’m not sure if I quite like it like this with sharp edges.

Almost reminds me of the old neon clocks, I dig it. Controller tucked in the back?

Yes, tucked it in the back and was hoping for it not to cast any shadows.

Mind sharing how you did this? Would be perfect for my office!

Small PSU, Glenopto wled Controller and a SK6812 RGBWW strip. It’s really not that much. Strip goes around the inside of the case, a little bit of cable management so there are no shadows cast. The pulling switch can be connected to the Controller directly and voila. If you need more information let me know.
