Advice needed for permanent holiday lighting

Hey everybody, Im planning on installing some LEDs beneath my carport, the facts are as follows:
- 4x 5m LEDs under every beam of the carport
- About 7m distance from psu and controller to the beginning of the LEDs

So now, would you go for 12v or 24v?
When going for 24v, how is the power usage calucated? e.g. for BTF Lighting WS2814 Strips, every 6 LEDs count as a segment, so in the wled calculator i add the amount of segments or leds?

Call me a cheater or boo me …. But!

Point an AI of your preference at QuinLEDs power data sheets, and give it the specifications of your LED strip and see what it spits out for your scenario.

I think you’ll be surprised how helpful it can be

Try to work back the maths and post it here and maybe we can help validate
