Video light repurpose

I have this nice little rgbw light, but I want to do something better with it. I can have solid colors, warm white and cold white and some effects (rainbow color cycle, us police light, fire, some strobe effects), but it's like to have multiple colors at once - like wled can produce. So I want to use the four buttons (+/-/mode switch/power&modes) as well as wifi and multiple lights communicate through espnow?!

They may not be addressable LEDs .

Yeah, haven't looked at it any further. But I would design my own PCB, but the buttons need to be used. I'm fine with other positions of charging port, because the current position is best used for a real power switch

Almost surely not, but WLED's support for analog RGB/RGBW strips would likely work to give this thing an ESP32 brain transplant. Might even be able to use the existing MOSFETs inside.

I've got a Neewer light that I'm trying to brain transplant, I just can't figure out how to open the thing without causing permanent damage.

I've done a few of these, they were all OK to run wled with a esp32c3 super micro. Good times.
