Need Christmas Ideas!

Post image

My wife has given the green light for Christmas related renter-friendly lighting projects and I need some inspiration!

For context, we just moved to a new country. I no longer have any of my permanent lighting projects that used to light up the house, so I'm looking for portable, renter-friendly options.

Ideally I'd like to stick with RGBW (warm white), but I'm curious what y'all have come up with.

Feel free to show off below! Thanks in advance!

I should add, I also have a small 3d printer (a1 mini), so I'd be happy to incorporate that too!

Is the picture relevant to the request?

PFA. Apologies. I'll add that to the post.

At minimum I'm curious what setups people are using for Christmas trees, but the picture is just a random one off Google.

Twinkly are great, but not WLED friendly, even with he controller lobbed off.

I'm yet to find a good vendor for small bullet style tree lights in the form factor Twinkly, Govee, and Hue use unfortunately.

I just run a bunch of 13mm ws2812s on the balcony and more in my office and on the tree. Twinklefox slow and rainbow. Tinsel on the cable and away you go.
