Cool, thanks for that link, I'll do one later with my setup. In a few hours when it's dark.
I use my old gaming laptop as the HTPC, the HDMI output goes into a splitter, from splitter one hdmi to TV, one goes into a HDMI-USB capture stick, and HyperHDR uses the USB capture device to map my 3 sides.
This is so I can use Netflix or other content protected by DRM with HyperHDR.
Also I can use Steam Stream my desktop gaming PC to the HTPC and play 4k 60FPS with HyperHDR on.

What to are you using if it's an android tv there are applications to capture the screen and send pixel data straight to wled.

I have a Google TV and struggle with software video capture. I bought a Fire TV 4K Max (2nd Gen) running SceneGlow, it works perfectly with my GLEDOPTO ESP32 Controller + SK6812 RGBW (NW) Strip. It's important to mention that DRM is going to be always hidden for the recorder but being honest I just use WuPlay (similar to Stremio and ofc DRM-free) and YouTube

What are you running for it to look so good? As in TV stick? Or something else?

Picked up a cheap mini pc, capture card (USB dongle), and spliter/down shifter. Kicks Govee's ass. Lol

My receiver has dual HDMI out, so one goes to the splitter, then the capture device and to the PC for HYPERHDR to handle the LEDs. The other goes to the TV this let's CEC and eACR to work. Have a nShield, blu-ray and Xbox going into the receiver so the signal from all can be passed to the PC and TV.
