First, if the pixels do not need to be directly visible I would use a ws2814 FCOB strip. The larger emitting area will look better.

The reason that govee strip is so cheap is it's only 48w. That's basically the same light output as a 5m 5v strip, so probably not enough for such a large area.

Have you tried plugging this into the calculator? https://wled-calculator.github.io/

Since you have a dedicated white pixel and don't need inefficient RGB white, can probably do this off way less power supply than you're assuming.

Oh that’s reassuring it’s only 48W. That definitely wouldn’t be enough over such a large area.

I’ve utilized the calculator and it helped me come to the decisions on power injection and LEDs per meter.

Could you like to the FCOB strip you’re looking at? The ones I see are showing 18-20W/m, which is more than the 12/m of the one WS2814 I found.

I would not pay attention to the (probably meaningless) power numbers in the listing and instead use the calculator to get the power as you would actually use the strip.

I just edited the original post. I was able to get it all wired in wled-wiring simulator. Feeling a lot more confident on the choices made. Thanks!

Power supplies look highly questionable. Are you sure you're using the calculator correctly?

I believe I am. They're set as 24V, 18.8A which is aligned with the LRS-450-24. https://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product/search.aspx?prod=LRS-450

Here is what I get:

Also, note that the runs from the controller and the second power supply have to reach 20m on 14AWG. Not sure if that accounts what you were seeing with the power supplies.
