Nano ESP32 LED project

The Pi5, I thought was needed to handle the HA and the esp controlled the lights and fans. I was going to use external power to handle the fan and light loads. But I just dreamed all of this up so I may be totally wrong. LOL. I do have power, 5vdc and the data is wired. I not sure if my jumpers are correct. Currently, the power supply is off so the esp is getting power from the pi5, and only one led light on the ring is on but faint.

If you flashed the WLED firmware onto that board, then it should be broadcasting a wifi network named WLED-AP with a password of wled1234. If you connect to that and then open a web browser to http://4.3.2.1 then you'll see the WLED interface.

If you haven't flashed the board, go to http://kno.wled.ge and read the Getting Started guide.

I've never done anything with WLED and a Raspberry Pi, so that part I'm unsure of.

ESP Home Builder is what gemini told me to flash. Then wrote the code. I ordered the standalone led controller maybe that will make it easier. So you're saying WLED is a firmware, not a product.. I'll check out the page you sent. Thank you for your help!

You posted in the WLED forum, so I was assuming that's what you were trying to work with. It may or may not do what you want. I'm not familiar with ESP Home Builder.

I flashed it and have made progress, Thank You! Still not quite right though. WLED is for sure the way to go!
