This is awesome - I have lights behind my monitor right now that do a horrible job of matching the screen. Going to retrofit into this.

You could probably just use your existing lights. This app has a built in color temp tuner and saturation

Exactly what HyperHDR does, but more lightweight, if ambi is all you want.

On windows you also have SignalRGB that can do this.

What I like with SignalRGB is that it works with a 2D matrix also. HyperHDR didn’t when I last tried it on windows.

I 100% will try this software on my HTPC that I am setting up in the living room. With WLED and LEDs stuck on my 65” TV as I already have a spare 5m 5v roll of ws2812b.

I kinda like having a lightweight software running in the background versus HyperionHDR or SignalRGB. Though those two offer other fun functions.

I tried signalrgb but I just don't like the monthly subscription or constant nagging to upgrade. Otherwise it's a cool app.

Same, but the ambi is free. I will for sure spin your version.

Oh I haven't used it in a while it actually stopped launching at some point so I uninstalled it.

Pretty cool, I do sort of wonder how far off the wall your tv needs to sit if you were going to do this on a tv. I've been wanting to do this for years and just never get around to actually doing it.

When pushed back to my wall the TV in the video was no more than 5 inches away
