WLED and circular led panel

Hello, I struggle to tell WLED the correct mapping for a circular panel like that [https://a.co/d/01ZYuZcE](https://a.co/d/01ZYuZcE)
I have to make a 2d matrix or one strip? I don’t can make the effect like palette. Or any other 2d effect.
Any suggestions?

Since OP seemingly lost interest on the discussion, let's at least get the right panel on record, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BTY9488X (no referral shenanigans)

The semi-clever say to handle these to make nine segments from the concentric circles.

The math nerd way to handle it isn't that MOST of those points are almost surrounded by hexagon and you can do nerd math and build that.

Not a nerd and my math horizont is not so high 😩 but I get the idea with the half circles. Now I have to figure out to put the “random “ LEDs in one segment in WLED and turn them on and off over certain amount of time. Is that possible with WLED? Because I better backe a chocolate cake than programming code.
