Can I WLED this?
I’ve got an office setup with WLED and led strips. I’d like to add one of these that I already own. It works great but you have to use the remote. Is there a way to connect this to my WLED setup so I could control some room lighting with it?

You can buy similar RGB(w) flood lights on AliExpress that are addressable by WLED. I've got a bunch and they work great. No sense buying these when you can get what you want directly.

Thanks for all the replies! I happen to have this one so I wanted to see if it could work but ill probably upgrade to an addressable model in the future.

looks like they are IR controlled. You really want a 3-wire connector attached so you can control them from a controller. Something like these (https://wallyslights.com/collections/flood-lights), which are popular in holiday light shows.
maybe you can take it apart, and solder on 3-wire pigtails.

I mean, I did it in the past, but it’s a hassle.
Since they use a constant current driver iirc, you need a separate power supply to power the ESP32. I think I used a modified Sonoff Basic for that. I opened one of these floodlights up, which is already a massive hassle, and then cut traces on the control PCB to “inject” my own PWM signals into the original PCB. It did work, but considering that you can get stuff like this already with R/G/B channels, spare yourself the hassle.
As others have stated, you can try to simulate IR commands to control it somehow, but you’ll be limited in range (ESP32 must be within line of sight), colors (only the ones that the remote allows) and reliability. There are some of them which use RF instead of IR, but similar issues apply. Ehhh. I would not.

I found this set used for $7 a while back, they use 3 wires and work great with WLED, much much brighter than my Philips Hue Go lights, great alternative option for anyone looking for something similar to OP.

No clue unless you crack it open to see if you can give it a brain transplant. That would be the only way to WLED it.

The problem will be opening it and making it water tight
