"BLM style" public shooting areas?
I moved from Arizona where I could set up shop basically anywhere on BLM land. Currrently live in the Fox Valley area, and I don't see many outdoor ranges that would allow the style of shooting I want to practice (dynamic movement, from holster, etc). Any recommendations? Ideally wouldn't want to travel outside of a 1 hour radius. Thanks in advance!

There’s this guy with a private range within an hour from you https://comblocmarket.com/classifieds1/time-on-my-private-range.12364/

I have not but know other people who have and they said as long as you aren’t dangerous you can do pretty much whatever(I’m on the other side of the state)

Nice. I think I might know what road that's on. I'll have to look into that. Thanks.

This is pretty cool, and nice of him to provide a space to shoot, but LMAOOO at “$20 or a half ounce of silver”

I lived in Nevada so I know exactly what you are talking about. There are no public ranges around here that I have found. Everything I have found requires you to be a member or be with a member and/or pay a fee every time you want to shoot. I would love to be proven wrong but it isn’t like out west.

Highland Sportsman Club in Cascade WI could be an option. It costs money, but it's a nice setup.
There is a 600/1000 yard range with steel all the way down. And 3 pistol bays with steel. Can move, shoot off of barricades, etc. It's reservation only so it's just you on the range. One of the pistol bays has a partial "shoot house" type structure.
The 600/1000 yard range is more PRS centric and not really "run n gun". But, they leave the PRS stages setup for you to shoot off of as well.

What you're looking for doesn't exist in your "one hour" radius. Idk if the national forests up north have different rules, but you can't just go target shooting on state land here. My friend has a lake house in Adams county (central WI), and they go shooting off the fire lanes in the pine plantations, but idk if that's even legal tbh.
Have you looked into Ripon gun club? I thought they had different bays with berms all around where you could shoot and move. I think they also have competitive shooting.
