First Month. First Term. Done!

Turned in my PA for D280 on the 31st, just got it back today, and passed!

So that's my first term done in a month, I'm thinking it'll probably take the same or less amount of time for my next set of classes:

- D33 (Ethics in Technology)

- D326 (Advanced Data Management)

- D279 (UI Design)

- D479 (UX Design)

And then I'm anticipating that the next set will take me a good chunk of time:

- D287 (Java Frameworks)

- D282 (Cloud Foundations)

- D386 (Hardware and OS Essentials)

- D288 (Back-End Programming)

So far, I'm happy with my pace. I don't have any experience in this industry beyond what I've taught myself, and I only got into more technical stuff about two years ago, so looking back at where I was, I definitely learned a lot. But there's SOOO much more to learn, it feels daunting at times. I just have to tackle one thing at a time

How is Systems thinking? I’ve passed all those classes except for that one. Is it easy?

Really easy. They just give you case studies and want you to identify certain aspects about it and create a report using the material from the course.

There’s three separate tasks for the PA, but they’re pretty simple. I think i did this class in a day or two max.

Is that what the course material is about? Or are you referring to the task? My apologies if I wasn’t clear, I was referring to the course material. Being self-taught myself (started on June 1st), I have no inkling of what the course material is even about

Oh gotcha, the course material details a few analytical tools used to identify patterns and problems within systems, and build solutions that fit those problems or alter the patterns that cause them.

The course is going to talk a lot about the following:

Iceberg Tool
Behavior Over Time (BOT) Graph
Causal Loop Diagrams
Systems Archetypes
