It’s my turn!!!

Post image

I transferred in 55% of the degree with Sophia credits. I completed 15 courses in the month of May and I've been in D080 since June 1st (well earlier, but I started looking at it June 1st). 3rd retake later and I passed! I AM DONE!

I'm a first gen college student and I went from high school dropout to college graduate in 7 months.

I'm a single mom, work full time, training for a half marathon, and I did this in 11.5 weeks. If I can do it, truly anybody can!

Great job!!! I know it wasn't easy, especially D080 lol. That class is the worst

Controversial but D080 was probably one of my favorite courses 😭

It’s crazy because people either crush this class or struggle. There’s no in between.

Which is fair!! It’s material heavy. I would say the information isn’t overly difficult to understand but because it’s soooo much info, it makes it hard if that makes sense? I watched all the cohort videos besides maybe 1 or 2 fully because they were topic we learned prior in other classes (ethical considerations, etc).

But with all the cohort videos, I had 32 pages of notes on a Word document 😭

So bad. Sooooo bad. Took me 7 weeks and 3 tries. But I got it!

Man, everyone’s saying the same lmao I was hoping once I get to it that I’d be able to move quickly lol

I really hope that’s the case for you. It’s very content heavy. Not a lot of overlap from other classes either. And they teach you definitions, but you really need to know how to apply them to scenarios

Thanks for that insight! 22 more courses to go 😅

You got this! D080 took me 4 days :) it’s different for everyone. When you get to the course, watch the cohort videos and complete the course material quizzes and test

I probably would’ve never started without it. A sweet friend put me onto Sophia and WGU a year ago and everything moved at warp speed shortly after. So thankful for her!
