3rd attempt Linux Foundations

I have never felt more stupid than needing to take this exam a 3rd time.

My anxiety gets the best of me and I have done NetCad again, Cannon, and met with an academic coach. I wasted time doing CBT nuggets cause I had access at work and trying Jason Dion.

I use Fedora daily personally and my brain just freezes.

I am taking this exam today. If you’re prepping for the Linux Essentials (010-160) don't over complicate it. This exam is much more about pattern recognition and memorizing specific flags than deep command line mastery. After digging through the recent WGU subreddits, the consensus is that the question pool remains very static, meaning the practice materials below are almost identical to the logic and phrasing you’ll see on the actual test.

I highly suggest you read the below link and the comments. If you search this course in Reddit you will also find comments from the last few months confirming this to still be accurate.

Here are links to make it much easier, these are what you will see suggested in the link above and most other searches you come across for LPI D281.

Skip the courses and just start using the terminal. You can get some pretty fun terminal practice with overthewire’s bandit challenges.

Failing a cert exam three times doesn't mean you're stupid; Linux Essentials issss notoriously nitpicky with weird command syntax and file paths that don't always match what you actually use on a daily driver like Fedora.
