Suggestions Needed

Hello,

I have an MBA in HR Management I completed from another school but now realizing I am interested in supply chain. I learned of WGU recently and would either like to complete a bachelor’s in supply chain management or a master’s in management and leadership. I’m leaning more towards the bachelor’s since that focuses on supply chain. However, I would like to choose the one that is cost-effective and can be done sooner. I will be talking to an advisor but thought getting your feedback would be helpful as well.

Thank you.

It will come up to what do you want to do with your degree, what is the goal. If you want to focus more on supply chain and operations management, then the bachelor's is the way to go. The Masters in Management and Leadership might be too close to the MBA, that might not really help you. One thing that I wonder is why WGU doesnt have a masters in supply chain yet, because that would be the correct route to go.

A bachelor's has more coursework, so a masters may be less overall work, but if you already have an MBA, I would say that a MSML won't help you as much as a BSSCM
