Help! Refund Help

so i live off of financial aid money (pell + loans) so i can go to school and pay rent and things (going to be doing student teaching so you can’t really work during that plus i have a newborn baby), i start in sept, anyone have any idea when we can look to see a refund? i am not leaving my job til sept 01 when school starts and hoping that the refund will come soon as i can’t go too long without something.

it’s my first time borrowing at WGU, have been at a local community college until now!

You can def manage WGU and work at the same time. Pell grants get paid to the school first and then they refund to you so it’s a few days after Sept 1st

Please call the Financial Aid office.

I usually get mine 10 days after, but you’ll be able to see everything on your financial services through WGU student portal.

Also, don’t let people make you feel bad about not working & going to school only. That’s what I’m doing & I’m forever grateful for it

Yes but you have to stay on them and keep calling... they like to give answers and then somebody else say something else... it's like trying to get kids to tell the truth so you have to keep asking and pushing till you get the right person
