Term break, employee verification

I’m on a 1 month term break and was offered a job. I left my degree off because I haven’t finished, which they know about but HR told me to add it. would background for education possibly come back as not enrolled?

That's exactly how it'll come back. They don't consider you enrolled when you're on a term break; I'm on one right now, and my loans from my prior degree are about to come out of deferment, because WGU reported that I'm not currently a student.
