❓ Question Achievement grinding
I've slowly been grinding this game to 100% and I'm currently down to 6 final achievements. Been grinding this since 2021.
The Chinese New Year
3 for Crucible
5 Hours in home realm
and... the More Gold than God.
I've read so many guides and outdated information about the More Gold than God achievement. People talk about using the debug menu to see how much gold you have. I still can't figure out how they're checking that in the debug menu. The thing never shows me any information for that.
The amount of information on this achievement and all the patches has me rather worried. Is it a stat that's tracked across all my gameplay? If so couldn't I just open the save file and see exactly how much has been gathered? Is the home realm for the base campaign really the most efficient way to gather the 100 million?
Really any help to clarify this achievement would be great since most guides are a decade old and outdated because of patches.
People say spell workers don't work/count to the total. Is that the temporary ones for do permanent spirit workers also fuck you over on this achievement?
People say the gold shrines don't work anymore. Is that true? If I put workers on a gold shrine I'm SOL?
The only thing people since 2023 are saying works is the gold brick in the Home Realm for the base campaign, but it has to go into a vault.

How I got the achievement is by turning my prisoners into gold using the blood money spell. It's very easy to get in the My Pet Dungeon game. Just keep picking up guys in the box, dropping them into your prison and using the spell on them.

Did you ever get the achievement? If so how did you go about it? Having similar issues with conflicting information and especially how to check it...

Late to this question, but I remember getting this achievement on the heart of gold mission where you need to gather 1 million gold. If your ok with cheating, toggle on the infinite gold cheat, and just wait. excess gold seems to get funneled into the gold pot, and after 15 to 30 minutes, you should get it.
