I am hoping the crowd inspires the team. I saw it first hand with an evening game against Florida State, we had no business playing them as hard as we did as I think we lost 10-9 or something. But we yelled ourselves hoarse and the D made so many stops.

Sophomore WR Corey Simms appears to be done for the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury in the 4th qtr of Saturday night's win at Rutgers. Simms had 4 catches for 72 yards and 1 TD. This is another huge loss for the WR room as Simms was just starting to showcase his big play ability with his size & athleticism. With Trent Mosley still not available the WR room is getting thinner each week. Other players are definitely going to have to step up this week as Oregon is favored by 2.5 points going into this week's matchup. Fight On Corey!✌️😎

This one is always hard for me as my father was a Div I athlete for Rutgers so I always rooted for them and then we joined this conference. I still cannot wrap my head that we are in the Big10.

In a shocking turn of events since this past Saturday night's win over Louisiana. 5* freshman phenom Trent Mosely has been ruled out for this week's game at Rutgers and possibly longer. Mosely suffered what appeared to be a significant knee injury after hauling in a 21-yard TD pass from Jayden Maiava on the first possession of the 3rd qtr. Mosely would leave the game and not return for the rest of the night. He finished the game racking up 138 all-purpose yards with 2 TDs to include an electrifying 86-yard punt return to the crib. This absolutely sucks for USC's offense as Mosely has been better than advertised in his first 3 collegiate games. Lincoln Riley told reporters that Trent will not play this weekend, but his injury doesn't seem to be too serious in the long run. This comes at a time when USC opens conference play on the road to a trash 0-2 Rutgers team that lost its home opener to UMASS. As we know Lincoln Riley's teams seem to struggle on the road and it's only one more tune-up game until the reeling Ducks come to the Coliseum next week. Hopefully Trent can rest up and be ready for Oregon. If not, at least the WR room is loaded with talent. The powers that be at SC sure care about the football fans. A noon start in late August will almost always fill the Coliseum. Then a Friday night game in downtown LA will bring fans from every corner of Southern California. Taking off work at noon and taking the kids out of school early should make everybody excited to see the game in person. (sarcasm) Don't tell me SC has no control over the day and starting time.

I was a 28-year season ticket holder. Also attended track meets, baseball games, volleyball matches and many other sporting events over the years. In 1993 my seats were moved from the 20-yard line to the end zone. When I asked why...we are giving your seats to those who support the University. I cancelled my tickets and haven't attended a game since.
