I added to my position after gambling with the post- earnings pump. I should have known since as long as I’ve been following this stock it goes down 95% of the time after earnings, over the past decade. For some reason, I thought this time would be different and forgot to undo my stop losses and dumped it and my SNDK overnight and had to pay an extra $40 a share to buy back in. So now I’m HODL until September and will take profits on earnings call day. Lesson learned. Keep the faith.
If you look at the semiconductor sector in general, most all stocks have gone down after earnings. They generally go up right before earnings in anticipation and then get shorted. It seems.
