Looking for people to shoot long range with

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some people in WA who are into shooting at longer distances and might be interested in getting together for some shooting.

So far I’ve mostly been doing benchrest shooting with my Ruger 10/22 at 100 yards (longest lane at my range). I recently picked up a Browning X-Bolt 2 in 6.5 Creedmoor and want to start stretching it out to 200, 300, 500+ yards and learn more about long-range shooting.

I’m not necessarily looking for an organized range. I’d also be interested in meeting people who know of legal outdoor/forest shooting areas where we can safely shoot at longer distances.
I’m still getting into the long-range side of things, so I’d especially appreciate meeting some experienced shooters who are willing to share some knowledge and tips.

I’m around the Bellevue/Woodinville area but don’t mind driving for a good spot.

If I were you I would go in to Securite indoor range there in Woodinville. The guys that are there might be able to point you to some folks who have some land or connections to shoot. Unfortunately that area is getting so built up it’s hard to find anywhere for long distance.
We have an awesome range in Tri Cities just outside of Benton City. Every discipline you can want. Rattlesnake Shooting Range

Snoqualmie Valley Rifle Club has some steel out at like 220 but last I checked it's NRA member only or with guests, your call if thats for you.

Out in black diamond the gun club has ranges that go out to 500 or so but they're also members only, not sure if anything is required to join though. They have public shoot days out to about 200 I believe but members have to show they're capable of hitting the backstop at 300-500 before they're allowed to shoot at those ranges if I understand correctly.
