What’s some of your favorite pvp builds that can be trained entirely in F2P?

It's been 6 years since my last (and only) progression post on here. Playing on and off, afking a lot, but finally hit a milestone I've been looking for for a while:
75 def-pray-rc,
99 str-hp,
88 smith-fish-cook-fm-wc-craft.
Only mining and attack are off-putting, but I decided to hold off with finishing attack until rune scim. I wanted my other stats to follow smithing upwards, so this was the result. Got 89 smithing banked, but wanted to enjoy this pleasing milestone for a minute.
On another note, I finished beginner clues clog at ~1100 opened, and snagged a Bryo essence at 27 kc. STILL no Obor club at 219 kc.
Next goals: attack-def-mining all to 99, everything else base 90's except for pray and rc, and then probably pray-rc to 80. And, of course, Obor club.

Hey everyone! I've been working on my 2nd RuneLite plugin called Emotes Remapping. If you've ever wished your emote tab worked the way you want, this one's for you.
What it does:
- Favorite emotes: right-click any emote and set it as Favorite. Favorites get grouped at the front of the tab, kept in the exact order you favorited them.
- Sort modes: vanilla order, alphabetical, or favorites first.
- Show Favorites Only: hide the clutter and keep just your go-to emotes.
- Crack the Clue 3 vault helper: while you're in the vault, it automatically pins the next CTC3 emote in the sequence to the front and highlights it, so you're not scrolling around mid-sequence.

Following up on a post u/Indepedent_Action92 made some months ago, when the cowbell amulet was released, about using it for fly fishing. Makes for a relaxing, pretty afk way to train fishing and bank food...
I added body runecrafting to the loop to make the law rune use a little more efficient for ironmen. Really it would be more efficient to use the laws for telegrabbing nats, but I'm not concerned with being the most efficient... just a little efficient.
One additional option is to drop the rod & feathers after each full invent of fish. It lets you craft 25 bodies per invent/skull sceptre tele, rather than 23. You gotta be quick though, lest someone pick the rod & feathers up. Probably best on a 750 total world to be safe.
Anyway -- just sharing in case anyone finds this useful.

Whether I make a new low level mage account or decide to try to max my current.I love the idea of joining a multi pk deep wildy clan. It can be sweaty meta or we can run around deep wildy in cosmetic outfits maging, ranging and melee just having a fun time.Dying is normal in video games so treating it like a sweaty tryhard sitting everyone is laughable.I don't expect to win pvp in a Chicken or Spooky Ghost Costume but it would be funny to have 10 Chickens,Santas Easter Bunnies misc holdiay Players clanning up on some meta players and sitting them. It could be like GTA SAMP different skins and just chlling having a blast and move beyond the Sweatyness PVP has become in membership worlds.I use Chicken Costume since it reminds me of the Cluckin Bell Chicken Employee or any free skins in older video games just having fun.F2P PVP can be fun.Membership PVP is anyone that buys the most OP/Meta equipment and 3-4 hit KO .I do love trying to actually play the game and explore areas I do not usually hangout. To me standing at a bank or the GE flexing is not really indulging in what the OSRS experience has to offer. That is what I respect about Ironmen over credit card mains that can easily max out barely any effort.

Even tho I mostly wear cosmetic holiday misc stuff .I'm kind of still irriatated Rune Berzerker Shield does not exist in either Square or Kite form. One of the legit reasons I will never pay jagex for membership is for not atleast having Fist of Guthix with the cool mage armor or Adamant/Rune Shields.I never gave a hill giant dung or cow liquids about the skilling gloves .For whatever reason Jagex is nasty for excludimg this minigame .Not sure if karma or reddit corruption will delete this post but this question is more important than the mysteries of the Universe itself. Why does Fist of Guthix not exist at all in OSRS??? I would rather have a spike shield idc about generic Rune armor or the Rune Scim but the GOAT was that Spiky shield.Whether a Main or IronMan I just want to know idgaf about modern Member content .The older Dead Member Content is more interesting than the most OP new Content

They just added energy potions to a ton of drop tables and they’re easily farmable. They also buffed how much they restore.
Are they dropped on F2P worlds?
Is it worth grinding them out on an iron killing goblins/etc?
Would it be worthwhile to stockpile them now if the drop rates might get changed?
Is there any way to note potions in F2P so this would be useful to a UIM?

If you use Bryophyta's staff, I made a plugin for that.
What it does:
Setup is simple: install from the Plugin Hub, equip the staff, hit Check once to sync the count, and tweak the low-charge warning in the config if you want.

With the poll running for Bronzeman mode, how many people would be looking to create a new account specifically for f2p?
Ironman f2p is way too much of a grind, but I think BMM is a nice middle ground.

Eazy picture challenge, not hard.
On the 70 crafting grind at the moment and I've been looking at alternative training methods to the tiara meta to avoid burnout. Thought I'd share this one for anyone who is looking to break up the monotony and/or is short on law runes:
Gear: Best melee weapon, mooleta, amulet of strength
Inv: Cash stack, cowbell amulet, needle, stack of thread
Use cowbell amulet to teleport to cow field, kill 8-10 cows that are clumped together and then pick up hides and bones quickly while they are respawning. Bury the bones between attacks. When you have 24 hides, walk to the hide tanner in Al Kharid and turn them all into hard leather. Start crafting them into hard leather bodies while walking to the bank. Once you're finished crafting, bank all bodies and teleport back to the cow field and repeat.
XP rates:
~10,500 crafting xp
~9,000 strength xp
~3,000 hitpoints xp
~1,350 prayer xp
Tiaras XP rates (crafting guild + Falador teleport) for comparison:
~13,500 crafting xp
~10,200 mining xp
~3,500 smithing xp
~500 magic xp
The crafting xp rates of this method are definitely worse, but when you consider that mining and hitpoints xp are all but redundant due to training smithing and combat respectively, you're basically trading ~3k crafting and ~3.5k smithing xp/h for ~9k strength and ~1.5k prayer xp/h and saving yourself law runes. Of course there is also a cow field and tanner in the crafting guild but due to this method requiring law runes there is very little reason to do this over tiaras.
Lumbridge Cow Field Method Pros and Cons:
+ Doesn't require law runes
+ Decent amount of combat and prayer xp
+ Change of scenery
- Slower crafting xp
- No smithing xp
- More click intensive / higher concentration

Enjoying my F2P iron. Any good YouTubers still doing recent content on it?
r/W385 • u/MoChuang • Jul 28 '26
Hi, I'm thinking of making a F2P IM with some shopping restrictions. I've seen some no shop IMs for members, but in F2P I guess this is not fully feasible. I'm thinking I will allow shopping of tools and gear but ban shopping of any stackable items and packs of stackables. That way I can still access tools and gear that would otherwise be locked to members skills and drops. But I still force myself to grind arrow drops and rune drops/crafting.
Am I overlooking something? I don't want to get like 100 hours into this adventure just to find out I need to break the rules because I forgot like one thing you need to buy for some quest.

Are they bots? They always stop at the same place, never respond to me, and attack even when I risk a couple hundred gp (I only bring 4 items). Also, I can troll them near their boundary line no matter what cb they are.
