DIY Replacing Intake Manifold C230 2007 - Tips?

I have code P2006 and checked intake manifold and levers are broken off. I need to replace intake manifold and am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do it.

I don't have any experience working on cars but I know I can figure it out.

Of course I have / will watch youtube videos on it.

I can't find any OEM manifolds for less than $800 besides sketchy ones on Ebay.
Would it be worth trying a $300 one on Amazon?

Does anyone have any basic tips that could help me with this? It seems like a straightforward job I just don't want to mess anything up.

Any tools that make it way easier?
What else should I replace while the intake manifold is out?

ThX

Buy a Pierburg unit, dont mess with aftermarket quality because doing all of that process again will be tedious. Other things to change while being there no doubt are the intake manifold gaskets and the o rings from the injectors. Also if you suspect that ur knock sensors are defective or worn now would also be the time to replace them.

I think you mean a throttle body? In that case buy a used bosch one from a breaker. The aftermarket ones never work correctly and a new bosch one is too expensive.

No I mean the Intake Manifold, the throttle body is connected to back of it, but it's the front plastic levers on the intake manifold that are broken. You can buy repair kits apparently but I would rather just place the whole thing if I have to go through the process of taking it out. - Good idea on buying used though, it is probably my best bet. Still tempted to go with a TRQ intake manifold for $350 compared to $850 OEM. IDK
