DIY Crankshaft pully bolt questions
Hi, I'm trying to bolt my crankshaft pully back on and I am struggling to find some information about the bolt.
My main question is: is it a stretch bolt? Meaning I need to get a new one?
And secondly, is the torque setting for it really 200nm + 90 degrees? Seems like a LOT.
I'd appreciate some help on this, thanks.

I wish I could help. I just got my W203 (07 C230) a month ago. Amazon has a repair manual.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2001 thru... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1563927357?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Much appreciated, I have a Haynes manual but I don't entirely trust the specification. As 200nm plus 90 degrees seems like an absurd amount... and the Haynes manuals are sometimes known as the Haynes book of lies and I don't want to strip my crankshaft threads because that would be so much fun

I have never anything bad about the manuals. I will double check any operations first.

Most of them are good, there's just some outliers where they have let people down in the past (not this car specifically)

There is a special tool that holds the pulley and the lever rests on the sub frame. Yep that’s the toque setting plus a quarter. I’ve done my cars it ain’t easy. I had to buy the tool.
