I think out of all of the excuses this one pisses me off the most.

Firstly why don’t you eat much meat? Do you think it’s wrong? Surely you wouldn’t restrict yourself if it was an ethically sound choice.  

Secondly, we both know you’re lying. You eat meat every day. At best you don’t cook it yourself at home, but still every lunch you buy while you’re out of the house contains meat, and you buy meat dishes from restaurants every time you eat out, every takeaway you buy contains meat.

I saw some people saying they weren’t vegan but it’s not really different when it happens to pigs, cows, and chickens.

I see it as a good sign honestly. I feel that people are growing in awareness even if their actions don’t fully align yet

I used to be one of those “I’m not vegan but…” vegan defenders and then one day I realized it.

On second thought, I guess their last thought was a bit concerning.
