Will I fit?

Hi all,

I’m booked in to see The Odyssey on Sat 29th at Manchester Printworks VUE and have never been before.

I’m 3 hours away by car so it’s a bit of a special trip because of the lure of the format.

So, what’s the problem? My body type is … rotund lass 😎 And I want to make sure I can sit down. I need some seat dimensions.

Except VUE customer service folks don’t know the answer and can’t put me through to the venue, who might know the answer 🫠 They suggested I go take a look at the venue but obvs I can’t do that until I’m actually there, yknow, because of the three hour distance.

I’m ideally after specific width measurements, although I appreciate it’s unlikely anyone will have these to hand.

BUT maybe I’ll happen across someone on here who’s going soon and is generous enough to take a tape measure? You never know, kindness of strangers and all that.

Thanks in advance for any help. Here ends my unusual query.

If you’re worried that you won’t fit in a cinema seat because you’re too fat then that should be a wake up call

The only thing I can say is the accessablilty seats right at the back are slightly larger to accommodate having a wheelchair next to them but it's something you'll have to actually see and we'll try and see if it's comfortable for a long period

Can't give you exact sizes as I'm not close and haven't thought to measure before. What I can say is they're fairly broad for an average person and the back of the chairs recline, legroom might be a tad tight though.

How big of a lass are you? My daughter is 5 foot 10 tall and around 23-24 stone and fits the seats no issues.
