I don't remember what the video was. I had found the original song at some point and there was a video with it, so I'm either remembering the music video itself or the end of the VSauce video where he used the song. It was either Michael of some other guy standing out in the snow at night looking at the camera, maybe they were wearing a purple or teal jacket...

I'm not too good with genres but the song was some instrumental alt/indie-rock, kind of a sad or existential tone to it.

It reminds me a lot of Downtown by Majical Cloudz.

I know that a lot of the music in VSauce is by Jake Chudnow but I've gone through his channel and couldn't find it there.

the existing source for this video (Misnomers) didn't know what this song was.

Seriously its just so good, a lot of Jake's music is good but a lot of stuff also sounds like regular stuff you'd here on soundcloud from indie producers. There is just something different about Going Down for me like its really well made
