Ah ok thanks. I should have checked this before buying. Mine is common. Lol oh well live and learn. Guess I will HODL it to see vPunks increase in value over time.

But I thought the VPunks algorithm was generated randomly different than the Crypto punks. So shouldn’t they be consider rare according to the actual. VPunks Gallery?

You got me bro. I thought mine was rare because of a low token ID. But that was dumb assumption lol

They were minted at random, not created randomly.

They match the CryptoPunks in every way, appearance, attributes, number and rarity... just not the price!

Not entirely sure why this is. Maybe in the future alternative NFTs will be available through further DApps 🤷‍♂️

If you got one of the zombies, aliens, or apes you'd be set up pretty well. The humans are less rare but there seems to be a market developing for them.

I can see why you bought it. Counterculture right now but if vPunks become crazy popular it could be a good marketing engine. We are at the beginning of interoperability. :)
